When a call doesn't work.

The four errors we see most, and what fixes them. Remember to rotate any key you've pasted somewhere public.

401Not authorizedSend Authorization: Bearer YOUR_KEY, with no extra spaces or line breaks, and make sure your plan or credits are active.

404Endpoint not foundUse the v4 base https://lunarcrush.com/api4, add the /v1 or /v2 suffix, and write topic names in lowercase.

429Too many requestsYou've hit your per-minute or daily limit. Wait and retry with backoff, cache responses, or move to a plan with higher limits.

5xxServer errorUsually brief. Wait 30 to 60 seconds and retry. If it keeps happening, tell us.
